WEEKLY RESEARCH NO. 29/2022 (Week 38, from October 27 to 2, 2022)

BRINGING GOVERNMENT TOGETHER WITH UNIVERSITY THROUGH RESEARCH!

The University of Kinshasa's Major Conferences, the GC-Unikin, continue to grow in popularity. As you know, they feature one or two major monthly conferences at our Alma Mater, focusing on a cross-disciplinary, topical, and highly relevant topic.

In this context, a high-level scientific activity was held on Friday, September 30, 2022, as part of the preparation for the participation of our country, the DRC, in the 27th United Nations Framework Conference on Climate Change of the Parties (i.e. countries), COP 27, in November 2022, in Egypt. The DRC is a co-organizing country. It is under this status that it had the privilege of organizing from September 5 to 7, in
Yangambi, the scientific Pre-COP 27. Several world experts in climate change were present, including no fewer than 14 from the University of Kinshasa. At the request of the Rector, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba,
A first and brief restitution took place on Wednesday, September 14, under the leadership of the Secretary General in charge of Research, Professor Antoine Tshimpi Wola Yaba. It was generally agreed that an extension of the reflection was necessary. The aim was to return to the impact of climate change across the world, in all its forms, and to enrich and consolidate the orientations and resolutions that our country should defend at this major meeting,
given his status as a good student and his enormous potential in this area
