EDURANK 2022 AND… THE EMERSION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF KINSHASA!

The words of encouragement delivered on the afternoon of Friday, October 14, by Professor Mimbu, praising the mode of governance of Unikin in the post-General Assembly of Higher and University Education (EGESU) 2021 period, really seemed to me to be premonitory of a great and happy event.
However, reappearing in global Rankings was, of course, an avowed objective for us, but one we did not expect to achieve so soon! When this EduRank 2022 ranking appeared on my screen, like a boomerang, early in the evening of the same Friday, October 14 (a date that is now historic, like that of Tuesday, August 30, the date of the publication of the first internal Rankings of the University of Kinshasa), I really couldn't believe my eyes. This time it's the right one, the University of Kinshasa is making its comeback! And in a thunderous manner, stealing, in the process, the respect of
several institutions; this is not an October Fool:

Unikin is ranked, and in a good way! As of this reappearance, it is ranked 1st out of 6 ESU institutions monitored in Kinshasa, 1st out of 25 in the DRC, 62nd out of 1,104 African institutions, and 3,063rd out of 14,131 institutions worldwide.
