The University of Kinshasa's Doctoral College, ColDoc/Unikin, is housed in the former Kopia building, located behind the University of Kinshasa's sports complex. The restoration of this disused building was among the priority projects of the Jean-Marie Kayembe Committee. The project was masterfully led by our beloved Polytechnic Faculty.

The third cycle of university studies includes specialization and scientific research. It is the path that leads to a doctorate. Doctoral training in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was the subject of intense discussions before and during the General Assembly of Higher and University Education in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in September 2021 (EGESU 2021-DRC), in Lubumbashi. It thus benefited from the opinions and contributions of most of those on whom the country can rely to implement reforms in this area.
