Promoting Congolese entrepreneurship in new information and communication technologies. This is one of the missions that the first Congolese university has set for itself. It is in this context that the representative of the initiator of the first Congolese smartphone "Okapi", Guy Ilumbe, was received this Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the University of Kinshasa. The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, found the right words to galvanize those who could, in the future, constitute a source of pride for UNIKIN and for the DRC. This reception coincided with the birthday of the Rector of UNIKIN, celebrated on August 12 of each year. On this occasion, the representative of the designer of the first Congolese smartphone presented an "OKAPI" phone to Rector KAYEMBE.
