It was this Saturday, June 22, 2024, that the Management Committee of the University of Kinshasa proceeded with the inauguration of the central restaurant of the homes “Power of Change”. The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, who presided over the ceremony, declared that this restaurant, first established in home 80, should be prosperous and contribute significantly to the development of youth in general and students in particular. The President of the Board of Directors Emilie TEBANGIKWA SIANGO, for her part, recalled the vision of her company: to offer students an environment where they feel comfortable with adequate food. It should be remembered that university restaurants have been closed since 1984. For 40 years, students prepared in the rooms with the risk of fire or electrocution. The Power of Change restaurant aims to offer the university community a hot and balanced meal at affordable prices.
