Signing of a partnership between the University of Kinshasa and Helios Towers, a company specializing in the installation and maintenance of telecommunication antennas

Facilitating practical training for engineers at the University of Kinshasa is the goal of the partnership signed this Friday, October 2, 2026, between Helios Towers and the University of Kinshasa. The beneficiaries of this partnership are the students of the Faculty of Engineering. They will have the opportunity to complete field-immersive internships at Helios Towers, and the top performers may be hired by the company.
The Managing Director of Helios Towers, Mexon Bekamba, stated that this partnership will also allow the company to train the workforce it needs to erect and maintain telecommunication antennas.
The Dean of UNIKIN's Faculty of Engineering naturally expressed his satisfaction with the partnership. Professor Jean-Marie Beya Kamba affirmed that this agreement aligns with the UNIKIN Management Committee's vision to enhance student employability. "It is also about boosting the training of engineers that the country needs to develop," he added.
