Organization of a scientific forum on food self-sufficiency in relation to consumer products in the DRC. This is one of the resolutions of the days of reflection on the shortage of maize in part of the DRC. The conclusions of these previous meetings, bringing together experts from the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences as well as those from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, were presented this Thursday, June 1, to the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba. The terms of reference for the scientific forum on food self-sufficiency were also transmitted. For the announced forum, a larger number of participants is expected.

Experts from the country's major institutions and representing all geographical areas of the DRC will, this time, reflect for 3 days on the strategies to be implemented so that the DRC achieves food self-sufficiency.
