Listening to the female police officers of the university guard/Unikin

A festive atmosphere characterized, this Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the meeting of the female police officers of the Unikin university guard with Professor Yvonne Duangani Masika, Unikin Budget Administrator. Stripping herself of this authority hat, the latter introduced herself as Mama Yvonne to engage in a frank and honest dialogue with these women who ensure the daily security of people and their property throughout the university site.

This meeting consisted of a first contact between the two parties. They introduced themselves to each other before engaging in a heart-to-heart exchange.

The female police officers of the Unikin University Guard have many challenges to overcome. While welcoming this initiative, which has honored them, they shared their grievances related to the lack of work clothes, lack of defense tools, no salary bonuses, no registration numbers, extended training courses with no deadlines, inadequate living conditions, etc.

Listening to them, the representative of the Unikin Management Committee promised to act as their spokesperson with the relevant authorities, while promising to hold this type of meeting regularly.

We welcomed the presence of Ms. Bulay Solofwa Marie-Jeanne, the first female police officer in the Unikin university guard, who joined on April 24, 1992, representing 30 years of service within this unit!
