Fire Prevention at the University of Kinshasa and Across the Country

UNIKIN's Digital Pool is deploying the "Confiance-GMAO" platform. This application will help maintain equipment and machinery installed in companies and other institutions using computer sensors to detect potential fire risks. The application was presented this Monday, September 21, 2026, to the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA. Isaac MAYELA, a developer within the Digital Pool, stated that the platform will operate in four steps: Inventory, monitor, intervene, and decide. This application represents the concrete realization of the University-Research-Sustainable Development (URDD) program, a way for UNIKIN to provide solutions to the challenges of Congolese society.
