Holistic local support for the emancipation of young people involved in urban violence through socio-professional reintegration
As part of its missions, including research and community service, the University of Kinshasa, through the Center for Criminology and Social Pathology (CCPS), attached to the School of Criminology of the University of Kinshasa, is developing criminological research applied to the Kuluna phenomenon for the exit from violence of young people skilled in Kuluna through their socio-professional integration in sewing and fitting workshops operating in their neighborhoods, on an experimental basis in the communes of Kimbanseke, Limete (Mombele) and Kisenso, with the support of OPEN SOCIETY AFRICA.
Cette approche criminologique novatrice est dénommée Approche AHPER (Accompagnement holistique de proximité pour l’émancipation des jeunes impliqués dans la violence urbaine par la réinsertion socioprofessionnelle).
