Today, under the majestic marquee of the University of Kinshasa's student hall, an atmosphere of festivities and enthusiasm reigned during the welcoming ceremony for new students, which took place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches from several academic figures. Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, Rector of the University of Kinshasa, warmly welcomed the new students and encouraged them to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit, emphasizing the importance of innovation and creativity in academic pursuits.

Unable to attend the event was the Academic Secretary General, Professor Eustache BANZA, whose speech, read by the Budget Administrator, Professor Jean KIGOTSI KASEREKA, focused on the expectations and behaviors expected of students at university, providing valuable advice on how to adapt to this new academic environment and the importance of lifelong learning.
Student Coordinator, Ms. Sharon KAPINGA, closed the presentations by inviting her classmates to seize the opportunities available, emphasizing the importance of preparation and immediate action to achieve academic success.
