The 47th session of the Board of Directors of the Universities of the Democratic Republic of Congo was held on December 16 and 17, 2024, at the Mgr M. Plevoets Academic Senate at the University of Kinshasa. This important event brought together nearly 40 university rectors from various provinces.
Several key points were addressed during this meeting: The conditions for admission to the Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA/DES), the examination of admission files to the Emeritat, the appointment and promotion of academic, scientific and administrative staff, examination of disciplinary files, etc.

Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, Rector of the University of Kinshasa and host of the session, took this opportunity to advocate for support in the digitalization of universities. This approach is crucial for modernizing higher education and aligning with international standards.
