Closing of the International Forum of Young Africans for Development (FIJADA) at the University of Kinshasa

The University of Kinshasa hosted the International Forum of Young Africans for Development (FIJADA) for the first time. For several days, young people from several countries, including the DRC, Uganda, Burundi, Zambia, South Africa, and Cabinda, discussed the future of their continent. The Forum, sponsored by the African Union, closed on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

It was held in several languages, including English and French. The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Dr. Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, strongly encouraged and congratulated the participants through his representative, Professor Jean-Paul Mbuya Kutumisa. He expressed the hope that the Inspired Hill would host this forum again to further foster African networking, a pledge of the continent's emergence.
