The curtains have just been lowered at the People's Palace in Kinshasa, after a 10-day Conclave, following a 3-week Pre-Conclave. The Minister of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation succeeded: nearly 300 Congolese innovators/inventors, from the country and the diaspora, truly demonstrated, let's say it without hesitation, the Congolese Genius!

It is now time to promote them and channel their inventions so that they contribute to the socio-economic development of our beloved DRC. The sample of innovators/inventors was representative of age groups, gender, social backgrounds, etc. For example, in the “women” category, we can proudly speak of Sandrine Mubenga (electric car running on Hydrogen), Mapengo Audrey (electric car), Thérèse Kirongozi (Robot Roulage), Marie-Claire Yandju (bread-making cassava flour). And I can assure you that the list is long. Let us hope that a new era is dawning for scientific research in the DRC.
