Under the leadership of ISTM Kisangani's Director General, Professor Désiré ISEKETCHA TAWITI, ISTM-Kisangani is considering a unique partnership with the former Lovanium. This partnership will see the deployment of specialist doctors from UNIKIN to the ISTM-Kisangani medical center. These specialists will be tasked with providing quality care to the local population while training future ISTM-Kin assistants.
This collaboration will focus on various fields such as nephrology and urology, cardiology, diabetology, ENT, dermatology, stomatology, resuscitation, handling of diagnostic and CT equipment, dialysis, and ultrasound. These medical specialties will help improve the health services provided in Kisangani.

To bring this ambitious project to fruition, the Director General of ISTM-Kin, accompanied by his delegation, was received in audience by the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, on Wednesday, December 20, 2024. This meeting marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the two institutions, as part of a process of excellence in teaching, research and specialized medical care.
