A conference organized by the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), the Congolese Academy of Sciences (ACCOS) and the National Institute of Biomedical Research (INRB) was held this Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the Monekosso room of the Faculty of Medicine.
The theme of this conference was: “EBANGA: From a life-saving gesture to an innovative molecular-based scientific discovery.”
After the various words of circumstance pronounced in turn by Professor Mumba of the INRB and Professor TABA, Secretary General of ACCOS; Professor Mbungu, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, introduced the speaker of the day, Professor Muyembe. In the absence of the Rector of UNIKIN, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, the latter was validly represented by the Administrative Secretary General of UNIKIN, Professor Bruno Lapika Dimomfu.
EBANGA, a drug against EBOLA virus disease, is a medical innovation that demystifies all the gray areas surrounding this disease.
