Kinshasa, August 2, 2025, The Congo-Kinshasa International Fair (FICKIN) opened its 47th edition under the ambitious theme: "Fair of Peace and National Unity for the Stability of Trade." A theme that reflects the challenges and hopes of a Congo in search of cohesion and economic prosperity. Note that this Fair, which began on August 2, will close on September 2, i.e., 1 month.
The University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), a true hub of intelligence and scientific innovation in the DRC, is once again marking its presence at this major national event with a strong vision: UNIKIN SOLUTION. Through this participation, the university is showcasing the results of scientific research from its various faculties.
The Management Committee, led by Rector Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, sees this exhibition as a strategic opportunity to open up to potential partners and investors in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

UNIKIN is not limited to the exhibition. It also includes two days of conferences focused on the sub-theme: "Consolidating National Unity after the Risk of Balkanization." This is a topical issue that engages the responsibility of all intellectual and political actors in the preservation of territorial integrity.
Through this participation, the University of Kinshasa intends to sell its image, promote its products and assert its status as the eldest daughter of Congolese universities in the search for sustainable solutions for the country.
