We must welcome this and express the immense national pride represented by Dr. Jean-Pierre Bungu Kakala, a prominent member of the CAF Medical Commission and current President of the FECOFA Medical Commission, who was proposed by CAF to participate in a high-level training course organized by FIFA in Morocco, focused on "Emergency Medicine in Football - Advanced Level." This theoretical and practical training, of exceptional rigor, brought together doctors selected from across the African continent with the objective of "creating the best intervention conditions to optimize the clinical results of players in emergency situations, on and around the field."

The participants underwent a final assessment, resulting in either a participation certificate or a diploma with distinction, reserved for candidates who demonstrated outstanding mastery of the skills taught. Dr. Bungu distinguished himself among the best by receiving the diploma with distinction. "Great Distinction", and was thus integrated into the official Panel of FIFA Medical Officers, a rare and prestigious recognition that demonstrates his expertise, commitment and leadership in the field of sports medicine.

All the key players in the national championship salute this achievement, which honors not only Congolese medicine, but also, and above all, the African continent. May this example inspire young doctors and athletes to always strive for excellence and believe in their potential.
