Nowadays, nanoscience and nanotechnology are at the heart of the development and well-being of the world's population, in various fields of health, agronomy, electronics, architecture, etc.
Given the many innovations resulting from nanotechnologies, which include, among other things, tools for early detection and personalized monitoring of pathologies, methods for optimizing and improving the delivery of drugs, strategies aimed at increasing and protecting agricultural crops, etc., what benefits would the Congolese population derive from them? What contributions are Congolese researchers making in the field of nanotechnology? What are the challenges ahead? Etc.
It is to answer these questions that the University of Kinshasa, in partnership with UCLouvain and KULeuven in Belgium, is organizing the Congolese Days of Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (JCNano 2023) from August 17 to 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the MONEKOSSO room, at the University of Kinshasa.
