An artificial intelligence training program has officially been launched at member institutions of the Inter-University Council of East Africa. This was the outcome of the organization's symposium held in Kinshasa. Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, Rector of the University of Kinshasa, discussed the issue with Professor Buyinza Mukadasi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. The artificial intelligence training program will begin next academic year.
