In recognition of his many achievements as Rector of the University of Kinshasa, the Interuniversity Center for African Family Law (CIDFA) has awarded Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA an Award of Excellence. This initiative, led by Professor Élie-León NDOMBA KABEYA, CIDFA Coordinator, follows an in-depth study of the institution's remarkable transformation since Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA took over three years ago.
The many achievements praised include the renovation of the Mgr Maurice Plevoets Academic Senate Hall to international standards, the resolution of recurring strike issues, the improvement of UNIKIN's international ranking (previously no ranking), the strengthening of partnerships and diplomatic and managerial skills, as well as the promotion of entrepreneurship among students, to name a few.
In his speech, the Rector emphasized that this recognition was a call to continue his efforts. He pledged to continue serving the community in order to further the transformation of this prestigious national university.
