The African Data Science Initiative conference began this morning in Kigali. The University of Kinshasa is actively represented by a delegation from the Center for Human Genetics led by Dr. Makay, accompanied by two computer science assistants.

The idea is to strengthen our institution's capacity in handling genomic data and to maintain our leadership in rare diseases in Africa.
