On Monday, June 30, 2025, the *Global South North Centre (GSNC), based in Sandton, Johannesburg, hosted a strategic working meeting with two researchers from the University of Kinshasa, Seke Vangu Max and Kapinga Kabulwe Sharon-Rose. The meeting aimed to lay the foundations for a concrete partnership for the implementation of joint projects, particularly in the areas of critical minerals, technological innovation, and sustainable development in Africa.

This approach is part of the GSNC's vision of strengthening South-South cooperation dynamics and promoting a just energy transition, drawing on local expertise and pan-African research networks.
