KU Leuven / Belgium. Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, Rector of the University of Kinshasa (member of the juries), and Professor Antoine Tshimpi, Senior Researcher at the University of Leuven, are participating in scientific activities and working sessions at KU Leuven/ Belgium.
This Saturday, March 25, Defense of 3 theses, from DRC, on Sickle Cell Disease:
1. Genetic Modulators (Mamy Ngole);
2.Diagnosis and Treatment by Hydroxyurea of Children (Gloire Mbayabo);
3. Diagnosis and Treatment by Hydroxyurea of adults (Paul Lumbala).
This follows the visit to Kinshasa a week ago of a large delegation from UC Louvain and KU Leuven. The partnership is truly underway.
