Le Recteur de l’Université de Kinshasa, le Professeur Dr. Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, a reçu ce Jeudi 27 Octobre dans son bureau les Professeurs Raphaël Tshimanga et Jean-Marie Kileshye, respectivement Directeur de l’École Supérieure de l’Eau et Directeur Exécutif de Waternet, qui ont accompagné les apprenants bénéficiaires de la bourse de recherche de Waternet et ayant participé à l’École d’Été International organisée à l’Université Nort West dans la province de Mafikeng en Afrique du Sud.
It should also be noted that in a competition organized during this training, the learner Cynthia MWAMBA SAFI from the University of Kinshasa distinguished herself in the presentation of her report which had as its theme: "Climate-Water-Migration-Conflict Nexus in the Congo Basin: Analysis of Interactions with a View to Strengthening the Resilience of Communities".
At the end of which, she won a prize from the North West University which she dedicated to the University of Kinshasa and which she took the opportunity to present to the Rector on the same occasion.
This visit also aimed to provide feedback to the Rector and thank him for his involvement in their trip.
To seal the frank exchange between Waternet and the University of Kinshasa, the Executive Director of Waternet officially presented a WaterNet/SADC shield to the Rector.
