As part of the modernization of the academic and administrative management of the University of Kinshasa, an important immersion session on digitalization was held this Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Academic Senate, under the supervision of Mr. Rector, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, and chaired by Mr. Academic Secretary General, Professor Charles Odiko Lokangaka.

This initiative is fully in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, Head of State, His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who encourages the digital transformation of public institutions, particularly in the Higher Education sector.

The objective of this session was to present the broad outlines of the University's digital strategy, to encourage the appropriation of digital tools by the various stakeholders and to strengthen efficiency in academic and administrative management.

The assembly unanimously welcomed and adopted this ambitious digital solution presented during the session.

This series of sessions will continue in each Faculty, in accordance with the timetable which will be communicated shortly by the Academic Secretary General.

The University of Kinshasa thus reaffirms its commitment to modernization, in the service of excellence, innovation and transparency.
