Results of the collaboration between the University of Kinshasa, KU Leuven, and UC Louvain: a delegation of four professors and research project managers has been at the University of Kinshasa since last weekend. These professors came to teach classes to students at the Polytechnic Faculty while identifying potential research collaborations. Led by Professor Jean-Marie BEYA KAMBA, Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty, and Professor Haddy MBUYI KATSHIATSHIA MUKOLE, Vice-Dean for Teaching at the Polytechnic Faculty, the delegation was received this Thursday by the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA.

Professor Hervé JEANMART teaches the Internal Combustion Engine course in the third year of mechanical engineering. Dr. Véronique DIAS manages research projects and supervises several doctoral theses in the field of combustion. Ms. Isabelle HENNAU is secretary of the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering, secretary of the Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics Pole and secretary of the MECA commission. Professor Emeritus Yvan VERBAKEL teaches the Special Bridges course in the second round of civil engineering of constructions/Structures and engineering structures and railway and tunnels (tunnel part) in the first round of civil engineering of constructions/Structures and engineering structures.
