The Kinshasa School of Public Health is a member of the Partnership to Enhance Data Quality and Data Use (PERSUADE) for strengthening the Ministry of Health's capacity to analyze and use data. This partnership primarily supports HIV programs (PNLS), the National Malaria Control Program (PNLP), and the National Tuberculosis Control Program (PNLT) in improving the capacity to analyze and use programmatic data. Funded by the Global Fund, this partnership, led by Makerere University in Uganda, is implemented in 13 African countries, including the DRC. The University of Kinshasa's School of Public Health (ESP) coordinates activities for the DRC by working with the monitoring and evaluation teams of the aforementioned programs to support data analysis.
It is in this context that a team from Makerere University in Uganda on a working visit to the School of Public Health in Kinshasa met with the Rector of the University of Kinshasa during a courtesy visit this Tuesday morning accompanied by the Director of ESP, Professor Désiré Mashinda. The team consisted of Dr. John Ssensuku and Mrs. Anchilla from the PERSUADE regional secretariat (Kampala, Uganda).
This is part of an important mission of the University of Kinshasa and the School of Public Health, which is to provide service to the community.
