During his visit to UQAM on November 8, 2023, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, spoke with several members of GIERSA who conduct research and make regular teaching missions in West African public universities: Ndeye Dieynaba Ndiaye from the Department of Legal Sciences, Sadio Soukouna and Issiaka Mandé from the Department of Political Science at UQAM.

The working session provided an opportunity to discuss possible collaborations at the educational level, and support through feedback from experience for the implementation of units serving the community, particularly in the area of human rights.
