Upon his arrival in Beijing, People's Republic of China, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, was warmly welcomed by His Excellency Mr. François Balumwena, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to China.

During a one-hour meeting, the Ambassador said he was honored to receive for the first time the Rector of UNIKIN, who came to strengthen ties with several Chinese universities as part of the development of strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships in the field of higher education.

His Excellency encouraged the Rector to increase these visits and to work towards training talents and elites, adapted to the specific needs of the DRC.
