This Tuesday, May 10, 2022, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, the Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba received a visit from a delegation from the JICA.

There JICA, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan International Cooperation Agency is an agency that sends Japanese experts to developing countries and hosts training participants to disseminate Japanese technologies and knowledge.

The discussions between the Rector of Unikin and the JICA Representative focused on the  JICA Chair who is the JICA Program for Japanese Studies, JICA Program for Japanese Studies. It is a program that offers, among other things, research opportunities to professors who wish to establish or strengthen Japanese studies courses or programs.
