Forensic medicine courses will soon begin at the University of Kinshasa and throughout the DRC. The ceremony to hand over the forensic medicine training model to the Minister of Higher Education and Training took place this Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Pullman Hotel. The United Nations Joint Human Rights Office participated in the design of this model. Patrick VAHARD, Country Director of this organization, attended the ceremony and explained the background to the design of the forensic medicine training model.
The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of this model.
The Minister of Higher and University Education, Marie-Thérèse SOMBO SAFI AYAN MUKUNA, has announced the start of courses in Forensic Medicine for the 2025-2026 academic year.
